English 12 D:  Class discussed questions on "Horses of the Night", then handed in questions.  Paragraph assigned:  Point out and explain any three references to horses in "Horses of the Night", showing what each reference reveals about Chris's life or character.
Paragraph due Thursday, Sept. 13.
More time will be given in class tomorrow to work on the paragraph.

English 12A:  Short story discussed.  Questions assigned.  English 12: page 25, questions 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6.  Comm. 12: page 25, questions 1, 4, 5.  Questions due tomorrow.

English 10 B:  Class worked on plot outline for "Hoods".  Due on Tuesday.  Then class took notes on conflict and character.

English 11 C:  Class worked on quest. 1,4,7 and timeline on "Three Days To See".  Began reading "To Kill An Elephant" p. 166 in Searchlights - finish reading for tomorrow.
