English 11C: Class watched a video on "The Martian Chronicles", then began writing a paragraph contrasting the bleakness of "And the Moon Still Be as Bright" with "The Settlers" and "The Green Morning". Class will be given time in class to finish this paragraph. Research Essay due on Friday, October 26. Students must successfully complete this assignment to receive credit for English 11.
English 12D: Class attended a presentation on "Me to We", then worked on their essay. Time is booked for Thursday to word process essay. Essay due on Friday, Oct. 26.

Note: The novel study for "The Cage" meets several of the essential learning outcomes for the course and must be successfully completed in order to receive credit for English 10.
