English 10B: The class will begin reviewing literary terms on Friday that they will need to know for the final exam. All students must attend this important class. All students should have handed in all of their novels and other English texts to the library.

English 10B: Class wrote a practice short story.
English 11C: Class reviewed questions on "The Painted Door", then took notes on poetry literary terms. Assignment: Write a poem about some aspect of winter using any 4 of the literary terms covered in class.

A reminder that I will not have time to mark late assignments only current work until the end of the semester. I have three classes to prep for final government exams, so I have a very tight marking schedule.
English 11C: Class continued reading The Painted Door and then began working on questions for the story. Questions to be completed for homework. Be prepared to write the in class paragraph - question 13 - on Tuesday.
English 12D: Class reviewed poetry quiz test, then took notes on the Original Composition assignment on the government final exam. Class will write a practice original composition tomorrow.
English 12A: As above. Class also given time to work on war poems questions.
English 10B: Handed back "The Metaphor" essays and the independent novel study. Handed out student marks. Class took notes on forms of poetry and read three poems, then began working on questions for the poems. Time will be given in class to finish the worksheet.
