English 10A:  Class reviewed vocabulary worksheet; then read "Planet of the Condemned".  Assignment: to complete the Plot Diagram for this story.  Homework: Plot Diagram and K2 story due tomorrow.

English 12C:  Class read "Just Lather".  Questions on the story were assigned.  Omit question 7.  Homework:  Complete questions on worksheet.

English 10D:  Class read "Planet of the Condemned"; completed the Plot Diagram and began work on reading comprehension worksheet.
Homework:  Complete plot diagram and reading comprehension worksheet.  K2 story due tomorrow.

English 10D:  Class worked on "Planet of the Condemned" vocabulary worksheet; then began reading the short story.  Homework:  Question 11 on K2 due on Friday.

English 10A:  Class was assigned Ques. 11 on "K2" essay.  Then began work on the vocabulary for "Planet of the Condemned".  Homework:  Question 11 on K2 due on Friday.

English 12C:  Questions on "Tears" discussed.  Class read and made notes on Theme in Story and Structure.  Homework:  Paragraph on Tears due on Monday.

English 12C:  Class took notes on writing a comparison/contrast paragraph.  Questions 1,2,4 & 6 on "Tears, Idle Tears" assigned.  Question 3 assigned as a paragraph.  Homework:  Complete the questions - not question 3.

English 10D:  Class discussed questions on "K2 Dreams and Reality"; then watched a video on climbing K2.  Question 11 assigned and time was given to work on this assignment.  Homework: Question 11 due on Friday.

English 10A:  Class completed the health survey, then worked on questions for K2 Dreams and Reality.

English 12:  Class wrote the quiz on literary terms, worked on a vocabulary sheet about personalities and discussed the short story "Tears, Idle Tears".
Homework:  Finish the vocabulary sheet.

English 10D:  Class worked on completing sketch for "Test"; read "K2 Dreams and Reality" and began working on questions 2-10.  Homework:  Complete questions.

English 10A:  Class worked on completing sketch for "Test"; took notes on essays; read "K2 Dreams and Reality", and began working on questions 1-11.

A reminder that the important BC health survey will be completed by A block students tomorrow.

English 12C:  "Horses of the Night" paragraphs returned.  Notes on Character p. 75 assigned.  Work time for paragraph on "The Destructors" and rewrites.  Homework:  "The Destructors" paragraph due tomorrow.  Rewrites due on Friday, Feb. 22.

English 10D:  Worksheet on "Hoods I Have Known" handed out.  Homework:  Complete worksheet questions.

English 10A:  Reading "Hoods" completed.  Questions on story handed out.   Reminder to hand in Technology permission forms to me asap.

English 12C:  Class discussed questions on The Destructors.  Question 6, page 65 to be answered in a paragraph.  Choose any 3 from a-f as the three main ideas for the paragraph.  Homework:  paragraph due on Thursday, Feb. 21.

English 10D:  Class was given time to complete vocabulary worksheet.  Vocab worksheet was reviewed in class.  "Hoods I Have Known" was assigned to read.

English 10A:  Class completed vocabulary worksheet and it was reviewed in class.  Then the class began reading "Hoods I Have Known".  The story will be completed in class tomorrow.

English 10A:  Class took notes on point of view from the board; completed a worksheet on point of view; and began vocabulary work for the next short story to be read.
Paragraph on "Denton's Daughter" and un-Valentine story returned to students. 

English 12C: Class discussed "The Destructors".  English 12:  answer questions 1, 4, 5 and 8.  One of these questions will be collected and marked.  Homework:  finish questions.

English 10D:  class worked on completing an Un-Valentine's Day story.  This was handed in at the end of the class.  Homework:  Denton's Daughter paragraph due Monday for students who were given an extension.

English 12C:  Additional notes on plot were given to the class; "The Destructors" on page 52 to be read for Monday.  Homework:  Paragraph on Horses of the Night due on Monday.
