English 10D:  Class read to page 223 in The Metaphor, then drew the two metaphors that Charlotte wrote about her mother.
Reminder:  Nadir Ali paragraph and The Cage magazine article are now overdue.  Students who have not handed in these two assignments will have to stay for Connections to work on the assignments.

Reminder to bring $2.00 for the play on Thursday.

English 12C:  Class discussed the questions from yesterday; read to the end of Act 1 of Hamlet; then read and took notes on Symbol and Irony in Story and Structure and began to write down any items/events associated with weddings.

English 10D:  Class read The Cage; completed the worksheet on chapters 5-8; turned in the 60 word response; then began work on Character Trait worksheet for Riva.

English 10D:  Worksheet on sentence id:  Hand in the sentences at the bottom of the worksheet.  Reviewed questions for chapters 1-8 on The Cage; began work on another worksheet for chapters 5-8 for the novel.

English 10A:  Class worked on questions for Chapters 1-8 for The Cage.  Homework:  Questions to be finished for next class and read to end of Chapter 12.

English 12B:  Class began reading Hamlet - Act 1, scene 1 and part way through scene 2.  Mr. Persad offered the class the opportunity to see Hamlet on June 14 in Vancouver.  Price:  $40 which covers transportation and admission.
