English 12:  Returned the Original Compositions that were written yesterday; discussion of strengths and weaknesses of the papers; then worked on Detroit State Poems: Marking.

English 12C:  Class wrote a practice Original Composition for the government final exam.  Questions on the war poems due tomorrow.

Wednesday, May 15

English 12D:  Class worked on vocabulary for final exam.  Vocabulary due on Tuesday.  In class paragraph on "Andrea del Sarto" poem tomorrow.  Complete questions 1-4 on "Andrea del Sarto" for tomorrow.

English 10D:  Class read "Broken Trail";then answered two questions on Chapters 13-15; read "Immigrants" poem and began work on questions for the poem.  Time will be given to finish questions tomorrow.

English 10A:

English 10A:  Class continued reading in their novel - must have read to the end of chapter 12 by Tuesday.  Then finished watching Boy in the Striped PJs.

English 12C:  Class worked in the library researching Andrea del Sarto and his artwork.  Assignment due tomorrow along with "After Apple Picking" sketch.

English 10D:

English 12C:  Reviewed the questions on "Ode to the Apostrophe".  Poem due on Monday.  Took notes on forms of poetry; read "After Apple Picking", p.77; then began sketch of poem.

English 10D:  Class read "Broken Trail" novel; then began watching "Boy in the Striped PJs.
